HARINAVI SOVA SOCIETY
Where Unity Meets Prosperity
Who We Are
HARINAVI SOVA SOCIETY empowers rural communities, especially women & children, through skill development, education, healthcare, agricultural support & advocacy for marginalized groups.
HARINAVI SOVA SOCIETY was founded in 1992-93 by some enthusiastic youth from rural backgrounds in agriculture and social work. Finally, it became registered under the Society’s Registration Act XXI, 1860, in 1994-95, and after six years of its registration, the Ministry of Home Affairs registered it under FCRA in 2001. The motivational force behind the foundation of HARINAVI SOVA SOCIETY was the poverty, social injustice, inequitable distribution of resources, and lack of self-esteem and self-confidence among the poorer sections to change their situation.
HARINAVI SOVA SOCIETY focuses on empowering rural masses, especially the women of rural areas. It believes that women are the most vulnerable group in society and, at the same time, the strongest agents of social change.

Genesis of HARINAVI SOVA SOCIETY
The foundation of HARINAVI SOVA SOCIETY was laid in the early 1990s by a group of dedicated youth from rural backgrounds who shared a common vision of social transformation. Witnessing the harsh realities of poverty, social injustice, and lack of opportunities in their communities, they were driven by the belief that sustainable development and empowerment could bring lasting change.
In 1992-93, these passionate individuals came together to initiate grassroots efforts focusing on education, women’s empowerment, and rural development. Their commitment and perseverance led to the formal registration of HARINAVI SOVA SOCIETY under the Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860, in 1994-95. The organization’s credibility and impact continued to grow, leading to its registration under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) by the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2001, enabling international collaboration and support.
Since its inception, HARINAVI SOVA SOCIETY has been working relentlessly to uplift marginalized communities, especially women and children, by providing access to education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities, and advocacy for their rights. What began as a small initiative has now evolved into a dynamic force for social change, empowering countless individuals to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
